maxi dress: vintageAhhhh, Photoshop, how I love thee! As I mentioned, I finally got my paws on a copy last week and have been tinkering around with some of its many features. In all honesty the whole thing confuses me but I'm determined to get a firm understanding of the basics. This will probably take me a while though, so expect lots of amateur-processed images as I slowly learn the ropes!
We've had some lovely, spring-like weather the last few days which has been a welcome change from the usual doom and gloom. It's going to be beach weather soon - I'm so excited! I took advantage of the sunshine by going on a couple of mammoth op-shopping trips so now I have a huge stockpile of vintage goodies ready to be altered, photographed and sent to their new homes. I also finally loosened the purse strings and purchased a semi-professional studio lighting kit - something I'd been talking of doing for a very long time. Hopefully from now on, my photos will be cleaner, more detailed and I'll be able to update more frequently as I won't have to rely on natural sunlight.
On an unrelated note, I feel like my hair needs a bit of a sea change and have been contemplating getting a blunt fringe cut. In fact, the other night I was
so inspired after doing fringe-style googling, I ended up standing in the bathroom scissors in one hand, ready to chop them myself! Thankfully common sense took over and I backed out of there pronto. I think it's probably better to leave it to the experts lest I end up looking like a tragic Lego character. I have an appointment at the hair salon next week but I'm still uncertain whether or not I should take the plunge. Thoughts?
